CSP engineered a distributed AI speech processing engine capable of processing over 50 billion minutes through a high-performance load balancing architecture designed for scalable speech recognition, AI transcription, and multilingual voice intelligence.
A global telecom and healthcare speech partner needed to scale transcription beyond billions of minutes per year while maintaining sub-second latency and fault tolerance across regions.
Speech is one of the highest-volume data sources in any modern enterprise, and our partner needed to process it at a scale most platforms never reach: tens of billions of minutes per year, across multiple languages, with sub-second latency expectations and zero tolerance for silent failures in regulated workflows.
CSP engineered the underlying processing fabric. Inbound audio is sharded across elastic GPU pools that are dynamically allocated per region, language and model variant. A custom load balancer routes each call to the warmest, lowest-latency model replica while a backpressure-aware queue absorbs spikes without dropping audio. Recognition models were profiled and tuned for the realistic mix of accents, telephony codecs and clinical vocabulary the platform actually sees in production.
Reliability was treated as a first-class feature. Every stage emits structured telemetry, every failed segment is automatically retried on a parallel pipeline, and regional failovers are exercised continuously rather than assumed. The result is a platform that has crossed fifty billion processed minutes while sustaining sub-second end-to-end latency and four-nines pipeline availability , numbers that turn voice into a dependable data product the rest of the business can build on.
The organisation needed to process an enormous volume of audio every day, from customer calls to operational recordings, in multiple languages and dialects including Gulf Arabic. Existing tools were slow, expensive at scale and inaccurate on regional accents and code-switching between Arabic and English.
CSP designed a GPU-accelerated speech platform built on Kubernetes, with autoscaling inference services that expand and contract with demand. Speech recognition models were adapted on in-domain audio to improve accuracy on local dialects, industry terminology and noisy telephone-quality recordings.
Beyond transcription, the pipeline enriches every recording with speaker separation, language identification, summarisation, sentiment and topic detection. Results flow into analytics dashboards and downstream systems, turning unstructured audio into searchable, actionable data.
The result is a sovereign, cost-efficient speech infrastructure that handles massive daily volumes reliably. Teams gain insight from conversations that were previously never analysed, quality assurance covers every call rather than a small sample, and operating cost per hour of audio is kept under control as volumes grow.
